Saga Ruby entering Praia's port.
This vessel was built in 1972 in the UK, after more than 41 years she changed her name 3 times - 1973-1999 MS Vistafjord form 1999 to 2004 RMS Caronia and from 2004 to present time MS Saga Ruby. She was built to the Norwegian American Line and it costed 35 million dollars. With two Sulzer 9RD68 engines that give a combined power of 17.650 KW she could reach up to 20 knots.
Unfortunately this vessel is about to sail to retirement. It's sad to see these classic vessels with beautiful and classic lines dissapearing.

Just a few notes - The first and second photo was taken at 07.00 and 07.03 am so it was very dark.
